My research on Okinoshima and women’s exclusion from sacred sites drew national media coverage in Japan around the island’s 2017 inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage site—newspaper features, exhibition coverage, and a full-length television documentary I conceived, researched, and hosted for FBS Fukuoka Broadcasting.
